Project Details

Millstone Weber joined forces with RC Construction to complete the Pope Army Airfield Runway Reconstruction Project for the United States Army Corps of Engineers. Pope AAF is located at Fort Bragg Army Base near Fayetteville, NC. This $81.5 million project included a complete reconstruction of Runway 05/23 during a 120-day full runway closure, beginning on June 15, 2021. On October 14, 2021, an Air Force C-17 was the first aircraft to touch down on the newly reconstructed Runway 05/23.
