MW was contracted by BNSF to replace the existing span 32 on Bridge 390.2 over Black River located near Black Rock, Arkansas. The project included replacing an existing 74’-3” TPG span with two new steel rolled beam spans, with a predrilled rock socketed H-pile foundations, installation of precast concrete bearing blocks, precast cap, and furnishing and placing riprap.
The major work was done under a 6-hour and 12-hour window for the installation of the new center cap and the replacement of the existing span. MW employees work in synchrony to remove the old and set the 2 new spans within our allotted work window. We worked with the BNSF Bridge and Track crew to facilitate the completion.
