In 2017, Millstone Weber was contracted by Union Pacific Railroad for the Illinois High-Speed Rail Tier 5 Project. The scope of work included the rehabilitation of two existing structures, one over Wood River Creek which was completed during a seven-day track outage, the other over Cahokia Diverging Canal. MW’s scope also included twenty miles of new fencing, reconstruction of six at-grade road crossings, and installation of ten new jack and bore culverts.
